We’re proud to announce that ASSERTIO Language Services, in close partnership with One Page Rules (OPR) and its vibrant community, has completed the localization of the OPR Core Rules into French, Italian, German, Spanish, and Polish—making this beloved wargaming universe more accessible than ever.

A True Collaboration Between Professionals and the Community

What sets this project apart is the way it was carried out: not just as a service, but as a genuine collaboration between ASSERTIO’s professional translators and a dedicated team of volunteer reviewers from the OPR community. Working hand in hand, we ensured that each translation stayed faithful to the rules, tone, and style of the original—while sounding natural and intuitive to players in each language.

This partnership model allowed us to combine linguistic precision, gaming expertise, and community insight to create localized content that is both accurate and deeply player-focused.

Precision in Every Rule

Wargaming rules localization is no simple task. It demands:
• Absolute clarity in gameplay mechanics
• Consistent terminology across Core Rules and related elements
• A tone that reflects the spirit of the game and engages players
• Deep respect for how real players interpret and use the material

Thanks to our translators’ gaming fluency and the invaluable feedback from OPR’s multilingual community, the result is a set of Core Rules that are ready to play, not just read.

OPR, Now Truly International

With these five languages added on top of the English original, OPR is poised to grow its global audience like never before. Players can now jump into the action in their native language—without losing the tactical depth or fast-paced fun that defines OPR.

Shortly after the announcement, Amir—also known as OPRima el Like and the Spanish reviewer for the Core Rules—hosted a live YouTube session on his channel.

In this informal conversation, Paul Tolmer (Translation Coordinator at OPR), Isabel Tamayo (Operations Manager at ASSERTIO) and Amir himself discussed the localization process, shared insights about the collaboration, and offered a glimpse into what’s coming next for OPR in terms of future translations.
